Two more things!

• I just read in this weekend's warrior that there is a pizza day this Friday, Jan 13! Forms can be printed from the warrior email and are due this Monday, Jan. 9th. There will also be another pizza day next friday January 20th.

• Also, just in case you are wondering, the post cards sent home today are for you to pass out to any friends or families who might be interested in attending WRCA. It is an invite to our open house coming up next week. You could also post them on your church bulletin boards or somewhere else you think is appropriate. The open house is January 19th from 7 - 9pm.

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas break! Here are some tidbits and reminders for next week:

• A friendly reminder to make sure you child comes to school with their gym strip and proper footwear on PE days (Wednesday and Thursday). Also make sure your child's uniform and gym strip are labelled.

• The parent volunteer sign up sheet is now up inside our classroom. Please feel free to sign up if you wish.

• Our librarian, Mrs. Klomps, has given the students the opportunity to do "book talks" during library time for the next month or two. It is a mini book report that the student will present orally to the class. I have sent it home as one of this month's book reports. It is the one titled "Bookville". These are due the last day of January, however some students will need to complete it early as they will be scheduled to present before the end of January. Each child will write in their planners when they present once we have the dates finalized. Please note, the other book is for non-fiction books. If necessary, we have a wide selection on non-fiction books in our classroom library that can be signed out.

• Class pictures will be Wednesday, January 11th.
